"Really nice pub full to the edge with character! decorated by with many interesting things to see on the walls! beautiful bar with a piano and comfortable sitting, it area, which is also for hosting parties and a smaller sitting area. the renter was really friendly and welcoming, so beautiful! we had two Sunday dinners that were beautiful at the price! very generous portions! small park outside for children, definately recommend visit!"

"Overpriced, shocking slow service, chips absolutely overdone, steak full of grissle,don't sit upstairs as you are lucky to get service without catching someone serving someone else We ordered starter main course and pudding mins for starters not to bad but then mins wait...for mains then they forgot one of our meals so had to wait another mins while rest of party eat theirs, your not allowed to order drinks at the bar so have to wait an eternity for a passing waiter to hopefully notice you and take your order. I complained to two waiters and asked for the manager but to no avail. No appology or exploration from them.The kids were getting so resless and had drunk all their drink I had to ask for another round of drinks (which we wouldn't have normal had to have done) while we were waiting and ask for them to be free because of the wait and poor service (to be honest i would have expected this to be offered because of the delay am mix ups)again asked for the manager but was only delt with by a waiter. We booked early for so wasn't busy and exactly prime time when we arrived and because we had to young children,finally left just under hours later not because we wanted to stay that long but because of the slow service really not well spent at all will not be going back"

"Visited here recently for an evening meal. the burger and the pommes ordered. fries were beautiful, unfortunately the burgers were very moderate. for this type of price they would expect a better quality bark. I was suspicious when I ordered when I asked to be my medium cooked. this question was met with a confused star and nervous smile. the burger was well done. yet it was eating edible. drinking was good. they were mixed and well served. the personal was polite and well presented. the washrooms in this food are clean, but wow there is a serious problem here. the washrooms smell really bad. it's worse than a blocked drain. it's just terrible. this problem needs to be fixed."
