"I wanted to share my Dinner Experience with my Wife on 11/30/23. I want to say we use to visit the old Hubble House for the past 20 years before Covid and would rate that experience a Five Star Plus. So now with the New Hubble House we did not know what to expect. I start with the Meal, We ordered the Steak Lobster seasonal special. It was cooked perfectly and as good as it was in the past. Next the Service, Our Waitress was Brenda G. and she was so pleasant and efficient and treated us like we where very special. We truly appreciated that Great Service a Five Star Plus! The Atmosphere, We where so worried before going there for dinner with all the remodeling Restaurant 's do today that its old world charm would be gone. Well to our surprise it was pretty much as it was before and so well Decorated for the holiday season we were pleased. Just one last comment we Highly Recommend anyone looking for that special Night out with Family Or friends The New Hubble House is a good choice and i don 't think you will be disappointed. We will definitely be back. Happy Holidays !"

"Tonight I ordered Meatball's and mashed potatoes and gravy and a pot pie. When I arrived to pick up my food, the owner was very upset because she had overcooked the meatballs. They said they wouldn't let me pay for any food and gave me an extra pot pie and some fruit salad. When I got home I was blown away because the meatballs were exactly how I would have cooked them at my house and they were The most delicious meatballs I have had in a long time. I've never been disappointed in the food or service at this place in town and I will be back over and over again."

"Pasta bread bowls are where it's at!! I remember when I was a kid domino's pizza used to taste like the cardboard Box it came in and was one of the worst, the company has pulled a full 180 and is the best pizza you can get delivered to your door. IMHO"

"My wife and I were here for lunch on Saturday. The decor is quaint and comfortable. My wife had the four rib lunch special and the ribs were fresh out of the smoker. Wonderful flavor and just the right amount of smoke. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender. There are a variety of sauces available at table. I had the combination appetizer plate with catfish nuggets, fried green tomatoes and fried okra. It is quite a plate full and each bite was delicious. I like the cornmeal breading. We also split the appetizer special which was fried summer squash, again with the cornmeal breading. They have a limited selection of tap beers and are in the process of obtaining a wine license. The owner and chef both came out and visited us. I wish them much success because we will be back again and again. Can't wait to try the gumbo."

"Contrary to the last reviewer who obviously had one bad experience and projected it onto every apparent meal, the County Seat has not changed from its welcoming atmosphere and their excellent menu. The new owners have taken great care in the continuity of the experience and have maintained their regular customer base, as I am one of them. It still has great food, it still has great coffee and pie, it still is a place that I want to sit down and read a book. The aggregate of Google reviews will affirm this reviewer. And, of course, as a bell curve goes, the mean skews heavily toward four stars or above and a disgruntled customer's one star review should be thrown out."
