"Six of us, including an eight year old child, had Sunday lunch at Restaurant 66A in March 2013. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The crab, crayfish and prawn cocktail was copious and very good as was the wild mushroom filo tart for starters. We had the lamb and beef for main courses both which we can recommend. For desert, we treated ourselves to the warm chocolate and hazelnut brownie and sticky toffee pudding, which were both excellent."

"Absolutely amazing selection of tasty tasty! we thought we could not help but get some baked. I would have made pictures to show how amazing it was, but they didn't last long enough! very recommended to click on and pick up what can only be described as a full of brilliant bites! to overtake it from the staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was very clean! I would give a sixth star if possible!"

"I want to give a reasonable repentance, but when I arrived at the restaurant to find that it was closed, there is not much I can say. it was a very special occasion and I went through all the emotions of wut too disappointed in about 2 minutes. I can't live for that I understand why such a high-rated establishment did not let people know that it was closed, is beyond my understanding. I totally spoiled my weekend in oxford, no matter whether her company was guilty or there's something, nothing changes. I received the booking confirmation that ludicrous was! I have booked the savoy in november who went through you again, I hope it will be open at the arrival!"

"I was a bit apprehensive when I first arrived for lunch here, as the setting was more akin to a college cantine than a restaurant. But we received a friendly welcome and the menu looked amazing, with starters including hake and main courses such as roasted pheasant and flat iron steak. And the food did not disappoint when it arrived it was cooked to very high standards worthy of a five star hotel. Admittedly, the service was a bit slow, so this is not somewhere to go if you're looking to have a quick lunch. But with two courses for just £7 I have to say this was the best value lunch I've ever had in Oxford. This is truly a hidden gem. It's just a shame that they aren't open more often in the evenings."
