"This store is lucky it's the only grocery store in this community. It's overpriced, always out of staples or sale items, the only saving grace is it's produce section, most times it's well stocked and the produce is fresh. I go to Hagersville when I need to do a "big" grocery shop, what I pay $100 for at No Frills in Hagersville will be well over $150 at Zehrs. For example, everyday price on their PC brand "Memories Of" sauces is $3.99 at Zehrs, 10 minutes down the road in Hagersville it's $2.79.Their seafood department is alright, never seems to be staffed, but they have some good products. Same with their bakery, the cannoli are surprisingly delicious, and filled right in front of you (again, if you can find someone, when I'm there around 5:30 pm seems to be no one around). The meat department is a joke, they'll be out of boneless skinless chicken breast one day, out of steak the next day, about 75% of the time I go there I can't find what I need. My husband likes stir fried beef strips, they haven't had those in stock for months it seems. They have a really good "all in one" Szechuan chicken noodle stir fry pack, but I've only seen it twice in the last few months, I buy it every time I see it.Long story short, this place needs some competition in town. Let's get a Food Basics or a Metro or something, give them a reason to earn our business. Until then, Zehrs won't change."

"Every small town generally has a chinese food restaurant in town and this is it. It is not true authentic obviously, but for $10 you can get a pretty decent and filling combination dinner. Open all the time which is great and the service is friendly. Have yet to be disappointed, so will be back."

"Wiggies is a old time local restaurant serving comfort food and basic meals.Amongst pool tables and creeky old wooden floors you will find a warm down home feeling of comfort .What we didn't like was the taste of old used deep fryer oil which overwhelmed our food flavor The pizza was good, taste full and delicious as was the salad and crispy French fries.
