"Had a lovely dinner at Mantay Ray for our Christmas dinner. Food was so amazing, our favourite was the Chicken Tagliatelle. It has shitaake mushroom and the pasta sauce was so tasty. All the staff members were so hospitable and very friendly. Best place to have a date night-ask for a table in the balcony for a more romantic atmosphere :"

"Had a lovely time here. The staff were so great and knowledgeable. Well priced and some great experiences on offer. The animals are so well cared for and are mostly relocated rescues or captive breed from other zoo breeding programs. The little cafe was lovely and well priced too. Will definitely visit again next time we are on the island!"

"Went into Cafe for a breakfast prior to departing the island. Ordered the carnivore breakfast and a coffee. Breakfast arrived first with look warm sausages, cold beans and a pice of half cooked bacon. The mushrooms looked about a week old and were all mushy. There were 5 small tomatoes that were cold enough to have just came out of the fridge. Absolutely unacceptable. Mi told one of the staff who agreed that the food was really cold………she asked me if I would like another coffee?????"

"Hot pies, bread, cakes, sandwiches slices all on offer at this busy little bakery. It is the only bakery on the Island and the tiny supermarket is your only other option for bread. I sampled most things at this bakery. The lamington was delicious and the sandwiches served us well for lunch. The sourdough loaf was adequate. Busy little spot for morning tea and lunch."

"Went here after a day on the water, seeing the Great Barrier Reef. Their drinks were well made and served, and their high tables out the front give a great view of the marina. Even better, the free shuttle bus leaves right out the front if you want to have a few beers! We didn't eat here but the menu looked good."
