"If you want to experience a real local Swiss beiz this is a place to go. A tiny and unassuming little house on the side of the road between Morgarten and Sattel, where the local farmers and artisans meet. Everyone knows each other and discussions are lively and animated. Portions are huge we had the cordon bleu and the portion was enough for two, but it was delicious. In winter they make one of the best fondues around. The inside of the restaurant is very small and you might have to share a table with locals but dont sit at the Stammtisch without being invited to. Note this is one of the few restaurants where smoking is still allowed inside."

"Homestyle cooking, limited menu since they are only a couple running the show. The do cook a menu from scratch and its delicious. There is a road you could drive half way up but still have to walk about an hour plus to the top. Well worth it do, love this place. Very friendly inn keepers and an amazing view."

"After 25 minutes waiting time we went on a house. none of the numerous service professionals was responsible for our table. the dame at the buffet said that she had already had it hard enough and we should wait longer. hallo? we were not the only waiting ones at the events of our table neighbors."

"That is a nice caffe on the main strip through the city. there is a very nice selection of baked broth, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks (no milchersatzprodukte), specialties desserts, suppe, salads, traditional Swiss dishes, burger, osterprodukte and much more. I had a cup of hot tee (4.20CHF) and a piece of plaster dessert (4.50CHF), served with a small sample of a heavenly brownie. the place was very cozy and relaxing at my late afternoon visit. the interieur offers mostly padded wooden seats around the room. there is a small corner playroom with toys for children. on the side of the caffe is a sunny terrace. the staff was very friendly during my visit. the remaining room was spotless and the gender entrance was displayed by male or female clothing shoes. I would only take one point because of the lack of military substitutes; otherwise highly recommended and I would visit again."

"We have been a few times to this restaurant in the past couple years. It has lovely views and many walking opportunities around. The first time we went there, we had to pay for parking but we did not have any coins. We were planning to go for a coffee at the restaurant and so my husband asked the staff if they could change the bill into coins so we could pay the parking fee. He was told no, that is not possible, this is not their responsibility. Eventually he asked to order a glass of water and then got change that way. We thought okay, fine, maybe this person was just having a bad day. We went again yesterday and it was admittedly very busy. We were directed to go find a table in the Salle. There were no tables available so we waited awkwardly in the middle of the restaurant for 5 minutes. We have a small child and we tried to keep him out of the way, but still he was yelled at to move by a staff member carring drinks through. Once seated, my son was excited about the table decorations which were small crowns with candles inside. I removed the candle and placed it on my head to make him laugh. The waitress promptly took it from my hands, set it on the table next to us and said that is not a toy. I found this to be very inhospitable. After consuming our coffee, we wanted to get going. My husband asked for the bill and we waited 15 minutes for the bill to come. I can only assume after all this that this establishment can stay busy due to the beautiful views and playground outside, but the staff is just too terrible and we will not be back."
