"As you enter, the only good thing you'll notice about this restaurant is the view. Upon arriving, the staff did not welcome us nor acknowledge us at all.With such an extensive 5 page menu, the food would arrive at your table within 5 minutes. Indicating that the food was prepared beforehand.When complaining about an overcooked stake, the waiter took the plate away without any apology or verbal compensation. Not 3 minutes later, a plate of raw meat was slammed in front of our face without any comment whatsoever from the waiter. When this was shown to the waiter a second time (a rude, discriminatory man), he simply shrugged and walked away. This restaurant is an outdated and overpriced dining experience with abysmal quality and service."

"This place is magic. Understandably it gets very busy in the height of the summer season so not everybody can get served quickly, or at all! The food is of good quality and well prepared. The staff are always pleasant and polite but for sure this summer they had problems with staffing levels the same as most other restaurants in Switzerland. We come here regularly. Yes, sometimes it’s a little slow when it’s packed but this is never to do with a lack of attention and personally I’m always quite happy to drink another glass waiting for what I know is gonna be an excellent experience. I thoroughly recommend this place but if all you have to do is complain and be impatient you should probably go somewhere that deserves you."

"Marie Joe is just adorable, great and cosy place for a meal. A meal here every time I visit Vevey is Just great. Don't forget to try the Filet de boeuf. Feels like home food."

"The food was all freshly prepared and very good. We ate there twice. The menu is excellent and wide ranging with the usual pizzas and pastas you expect in an Italian restaurant with the added variety of specialities of the house. We had the antipasti...help yourself buffet starter which was excellent value and was different on both occasions. For carnivors the entrecot steak served on a sizzling slate platter was a real treat and the veal was superb. The location near the station was good and also just down the street from the Astra Hotel. Once the main courses had been served the service was a bit slow but overall a good experience."
In beautiful weather you can even be served in the outdoor area, And into the accessible rooms also come customers with wheelchairs or physiological disabilities.
