"Quality family owned restaurant. I 've been going to Roma Antiqua for family gatherings since I was a kid. The food was always 'real ' and consistent and there was something for everyone. The place was starting to look a little tired over the last few of years and I hadn 't been back since about 2010. I just went back with my parents and the restaurant has been totally revamped. The food was just as I remembered it but seemed to taste a little better in the new atmosphere. Still great bang for your buck."

"I was eaten by coal twice. I tried to give this restaurant a chance twice and both times I was very disappointed. Apart from the potatoes, everything else tastes the same (not much) There is no Portuguese spice, the chicken is ordinary. You can easily do the same by buying a thigh from Iga already seasoned. The service is extremely slow, the 2 times I've been there it took over 30 minutes to get my takeout and the restaurant was almost empty. Honestly, I strongly advise against it, because you will be disappointed. You have several much better alternatives around. For example in St-Hubert sur Cousineau, otherwise Old Longeuil. And if you are motivated, Montreal has its share of Portuguese restaurants better than this one, starting with ramados, and barosso. In short, avoid it."

"I had the Tutta Guarnitta pizza, which is basically the standard pizza. Service was quick, professional, an comprehensive. Food was great. The pizza was actually very good, and a good portion too. Restaurant is located in the BestWestern Plus Hotel near Montreal Dorval Airport. So easily accessible. Dining could be quick or could be slow. It 's nice, for a change, that we can decide what pace our meal will have..."
