"A simple takeaway fish and chip shop, but it was recommended by our AirBnB hosts as being the best on Straddie. I thought that it was average in terms of service, flavour, freshness, and servings. I had expected something more - perhaps fresher or greater/different variety to the mainland - because it was on Stradebroke Island. However, it was reasonably priced."

"We decided to have lunch here when we visited Straddle yesterday.We had Fish and Chips.The fish was well cooked and the chips nice and crispy.I would have liked a small side salad with it to leave a fresh taste in my mouth.The Beers were nice and cold,but a little exy.The waitress was very pleasant.I.would go there again."

"Had dinner here, seemed popular with lots of people. Food was quite good and very tasty. Waiter service was lacking though, as I asked for main sized meal but was given an entree size for the main. Waiter also failed to serve the side we ordered and generally had an unfriendly demeanor. Have to do better if you want return customers."
