"I’ve passed by this place many times and never gave it the time of day nor did I know it was this good! They have a pre-made menu with a lot of pizza choices to choose from, but no slices only pies. Freshly made with a wood stove in about 8 minutes, that wood stove definitely adds a unique flavor. I’ve had plenty of places in Brooklyn such as L&B’s (famous pizza spot) but Pizza Rita is definitely up on my list for best pizzerias especially in mattituck. A little pricey but it’s well worth it. I recommend giving them a try and see for yourself. Good atmosphere with a very kind owner."

I usually have trouble eating my toddler for dinner, but tonight I got Uncle Joe's eggplant parmesan pizza and he let his piece disappear in seconds and asked for more. "5/4/22 only back from florida, we had to bring a few things out of the local market and dinner. we chose the Mattituck market and michaelangelo pizzeria next door. we enjoyed a wonderful meal that a meeresfruit pasta, the hubby very enjoyed. it included a lot of seafood, among them moaning, garnel and a lobster dick! one of the specials offered this evening was a pork jelly milanese with a wonderful salat above. the black was juicy, tender and tasteful we enjoyed our dinner and left us to live in the east end. it was great that brenda and our server alicia could not have been more attentive."

"We thoroughly enjoyed this winery. The people serving and running it were knowledgeable and personable. David was exceptional. On top of a beautiful environment, the wines that we tasted, and there were many, were all delicious. We ultimately bought a case of mixed white and red. The food was delicious. This was absolutely a lovely experience. I was there with my two grown daughters and my grandchild. We had come from having the complete opposite experience at another “well known” place. If you want wonderful interesting wine in a lovely environment with nice hosts….this is your place. Be careful, it was hard to decide what to bring home. We didn’t taste one glass that wasn’t delicious."
