"Pleasing visit to this centre, and came away knowing much about the local history of Çaistor. Also, the local library is under the same roof where you can browse a book or enjoy a delicious coffee or use one of the free computer terminals. All in all a little gem !"

"Went tonight for a birthday meal having never been before. A good selection of beers and some less available spirits on sale. We had the fish and chips, steak and ale pie and Ribeye steak. All arrived quickly and piping hot. Clearly all homemade and excellent quality. The portions were more than adequate and we are big eaters. There is a great wine list from the local vintners Sandham 's of Caistor...so good that we went and bought a couple of bottles of the Rioja Reserva that we had drank with our meal (still open 'til 19:30 on a Saturday) the wine list is comprehensive and inexpensive, covering all options. My son and I had the Tiramisu for desert and my wife the treacle sponge and custard. Again all brought out in a reasonable time. The quality of all was really good and clearly made to order...no microwave or defrost and serve here. We did book our table and were seated immediately on arrival. I have seen a few reviews suggesting that they were not accommodated and that this was a very locals only pub. Our welcome was warm but...this is the only pub in Caistor, it will be busy and there will be locals having a drink!!! There was some language but it was not insufferable and nothing compared to our local pubs! Pubs are for adults after all. We will certainly be going back, that menu needs working through! The front of house team tonight were young, but attentive and friendly, I bought them all a drink. If you can book, do so. This place punches above it 's weight on food quality! You will not go hungry!"

"6 ofus had a meal on a Friday evening . It was great to see such a wide choice of food available and lots of vegetarian options too. The food was piping hot , served efficiently and more importantly very tasty! It was delicious. Everybody enjoyed their option. We will definitely return."

"If you want food, this is the home of food. Walked in on the off chance of a table... if you don't mind I'll ask the chef...yes that's okay. Table for two in front of the bar. Mind the dog it's a slow moving house guest. At least it won't eat you. You're not as tasty as leg of postman. Specials. Go for specials. It will cost you. If you don't like food served in a decent way go down the toad where the locals are. It will cost you but not an arm or leg. The family next to us were genuinely having photographic fare. The little ones ate the lot followed by Ice Scream. Just the ticket to a gastronomic treat. My friend ate pork belly. He kept that to himself. So would I. Mine was a fish platter to almost die for. Made sure I didn't of course. Hook, line and drinker the cream finished the meal for me. Couldn't eat another mouth full. I had to drive but I'll be back. Make sure you detour here. The amount of cars in the car park determine if this a place of pilgrimage. Enjoy the sonambulant atmosphere. This is not crepe from Macdonalds.
