"I was not impressed by the spa. Reception: We spent two nights in the hotel; on the first day I went to the reception of the spa, asking for information about the different massages. The reception seemed a little hectic, after waiting, the lady who...attended me, could not (or want) to give to much explanation about the different massages. (I already should have seen, that this place is no for me… As I did not get information (meaning…none), I decided to book a Quiromassage, as I have it regularly at home. Strength of the massage: The lady who gave the massage was nice, but when I asked her to do it stronger, she tried it, but then again it did not work. I asked her 2-3 times, when she told me, that I should have gotten a different type of massage. I told her, that I have regularly quiro massage at home, and I did not ask her to change the technique, I only asked her to try to do it stronger, so it gets to the deep tissue. I guess she got annoyed, so then she did it extremely (painfully) strong. Main areas for the massage: I told her that my shoulder and neck would need more attention. She worked on them only few minutes, she did not organise her time well, she did not do when I asked for. Timing: The massage was supposed to last for 50 minutes. The 50 minutes actually included the changing time, and a few minutes of resting time, that in my opinion should not be included in the 50 minutes. Spa: I did not make any complain, but it seems, that the massage lady mentioned it. To be fair, they did call me and offer me another massage, but I did not want to have it at the same afternoon, and on the following morning we checked out early. Although they did offer me a kind of solution, it was not really was one. I do appreciate the effort though. Reflection: • I believe in a professional place they should make sure that there is an understating of the definition of the massages. To be fair, maybe whet they understand as a quiro massage and what my quiro massager does at home are not the same. They should be, but maybe they are not. They should make sure that they explain, and there is not misunderstanding. (Actually this is the first time I have this problem. When we travel I usually try to get a massage, in Asia, Europe...etc) • At the beginning of the session, the areas that need more attention, should be determined, so the person is able to organise his/her time accordingly. • The strength used, should be determined before the session, light, light/medium, medium, medium/strong, strong. • 50 minutes massage should be 50 minutes massage only, anything else should be on top."
