"Fish cake was not fresh and was more potato than fish. The batter was dark brown and unappetizing. The chips were all black and soggy l think the potatoes are left open before cooking, hence being black, but also terrible quality potatoes. The sausage was oily and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. I wanted to take it back and ask the owner if he would eat such a disgusting meal, but my partner stopped me. Absolute shocking food not fit for human consumption."

"By far the best chippy in the area. We've been visiting for over 20 years even after we moved down south we always made sure to get a take away on our return visits.
