"Im Herbst habe ich mit meinem Mann das Restaurant "Meer-Kieker" an der Strandpromenade besucht. Da es ein schöner Tag war, nahmen wir an einem Tisch auf der Terrasse Platz. Nach etwa zehn Minuten kam ein Kellner und informierte uns, dass jetzt nur noch im Innenbereich gegessen werden könne. Verwundert zogen wir um ins Restaurant-Innere. Fast alle Tische waren leer, und so suchten wir uns einen Fensterplatz. Wieder wurden wir einige Minuten später aufgefordert, uns einen anderen Platz zu suchen, da der Tisch eine Stunde später reserviert sei. (Fast alle Tische im Raum waren leer). Kurz darauf korrigierte sich der Kellner und sagte, er stelle das Reserviert-Schild einfach auf den Nachbartisch.Das Essen kam nach gut 15 Minuten auf den Tisch. Mein Mann hatte Labskaus bestellt, und man hatte am Brummen des Pürierstabs gehört, dass das Gericht offenbar auch frisch zubereitet worden war. Meinem Mann schmeckte es und der Teller wirkte appetitlich.Ich hingegen war sehr enttäuscht: Für rund 15,00 Euro hatte ich eine fleischlose "Schupfnudelpfanne mit mediterranem Gemüse und Saure Sahne-Dip" bestellt. Was auf den Tisch kam, war eine einzige Enttäuschung. Genau sechs Schupfnudeln und ein großzügiger Haufen TK-Gemüse (Erbsenschoten, Karotten, Zucchini) waren auf dem Teller. Die Schupfnudeln waren wabbelig und weiß, kein bisschen knusprig. Vermutlich stammten sie aus der gleichen TK-Tüte wie die Gemüsemischung. Die kreative Eigenleistung des Hauses war der Dip, der eigenartig grau aussah. - Offenbar war hier sehr viel Knoblauchöl im Einsatz gewesen. Eine leichte Knoblauchnote am Essen ist lecker, hier aber schmeckte der Dip geradezu penetrant und hinterließ im Mund einen üblen Nachgeschmack. - Als die Bedienung uns fragte, ob es geschmeckt habe, antwortete ich ehrlich: "Leider nur mittelmäßig". Zwar zuckte der Kellner kurz zusammen, aber fragte noch nicht einmal nach dem Grund meiner Unzufriedenheit. Er nahm die fast volle Schale wortlos mit. Ganz ehrlich? - Keinen zweiten Besuch wert."
