"We stayed at the hotel and had dinner in this restaurant twice. Very good authentic Austrian food. The property has a working farm that provides fresh meat and vegetables.Had an aspic as an appetizer and ordered it again the second time. Best potato salad ever. Also had a mixed green salad with prawns that was excellent"

"Wir kamen mit einer 13-köpfigen Gruppe um zu Essen und zu Trinken am Abend. Wir konnten spontan am Nachmittag noch reservieren. Das Lokal bietet eine gute Auwahl an Speisen, wobei euch Vegetarier etwas finden. Die Getränkepreise sind absolut in Ordnung und auch die Essenspreise waren nicht überteuert. (z.B. Bio- Rind Gulasch mit Knödel für 10,50 Euro) Obwohl der Koch alleine in der Küche war, zauberte er uns am späten Abend noch eine Riesenpfanne frischen Kaiserschmarrn, die er uns direkt auf den Tisch stellte. Und der war echt lecker, vorallem mit dem selbstgemachten Zwetschgenmus. Der Kellner war super freundlich und blieb auch bei vielen Einzelbestellungen freundlich und witzig und vorallem schnell. Also wenn man in Hallein ist, auf jeden Fall das Gasthaus Hager mitnehmen."

"A very nice farm in the middle of bad vigaun with several stubborn. we have eaten very cozy in cafe part - nice, unobtrusive. delicious food, very friendly, attentive staff. it is better to reserve v.a. at the weekend evening. large portions, reasonable prices."
