"We went first to La Palazzina after they closed after they had not found a restaurant that was still open. The owner and cook Francesco was out and was shocked that we had not eaten yet, so he offered to open the kitchen again to make us pasta. We refused because we wanted no trouble, but we returned to dinner the next day and Francesco came out and recognized us and wanted to make sure that we had found something to eat the night before. After visiting all these great cities full of tourists, it was definitely refreshing to come to La Palazzina with its very local and cozy atmosphere. The food was great, but what made it a 5-star experience was the generous hospitality of Francesco and our servers."

"Very nice restaurant with terrace on a car-free Piazza. The waiter was very well known about Coeliakie. Our daughter received gluten-free bread and a gluten-free appetizer. She really liked the melon with Prosciutto. Unfortunately no children's menu and no gluten-free pasta. We had a very nice evening, but then they accused us too much 40 eur on our bill... not sure if it was really intentional, but it left us with a bitter aftertaste..."
