"We have passed by this restaurant many times wondering how can it have fresh seafood in the middle of the desert? Finally the curiosity got the better of me. I pulled into the parking lot. The dining room was very clean. The decor was mild Asian. The chef and the waitress were very nice. I ordered the sashimi appetizer plate and was pleasantly surprised. It was very good. I also ordered the shrimp tempura which was ok but it was more like the frozen shrimp you get at a supermarket. I also ordered the heated sake and it complimented the sashimi. I will be going back to try their other items on the menu. I will recommend Maki Sushi to my friends. The fish were excellent."

"Wasn't long John for over three years. Since I was in town, I decided to stop and try. Wasn't disappointed! WAAAY better than previous experiences! The older lady on the front is such a treasure! Thank you, Brenda. She makes the place like a mother and pop shop! Stop it now!"

"Well what can I say? Another Landry Entertainment Concept does not disappoint!! I've been to Bubba Gumps in Monterey CA and it is the ideal location for one of them. But honestly I loved seeing how the Golden Nugget was a perfect setting for A Bubba Gumps!!! It was my Mothers 68th Birhday and we chose there to celebrate! Mom and Dad and My Sisters family had the Backyard Feast which had a Rack of Ribs, 1/2 pound of Snow Crab legs, a Shrimp Boil with Garlic Shrimp and red potatoes with andouile Sausage! They were very satisfied with it all!! I had the Fish and Chips which were phenomenal! The decorations obviously did not disappoint with being able to see behind the scenes of the movie! I can't remember her name but our Server was not only CUTE as heck she was on point with her service!!! Got some cool free glasses on the way out and picked up my Stupid is as Stupid does T-shirt..."

"Overall, it was surprisingly good. Food was well-prepared and flavored right. The clam chowder needs some work. It’s kind of jello-like and needed to be more authentic."
