"Great ice cream, tub filled to the brim with no extra cost. They don 't charge you 2 dollars extra for 'premium ice-cream '. The flavours are so good especially coconut and cinnamon. They fill your tub right to the brim not just a scoop it 's a spatula pressed into your tub. A wide range of flavours and nice seating inside and out for you to sit. Reasonable price and size for what you pay for. 10/10 would recommend!"

"Beautiful cafe right on the lakefront. Gorgeous views of the lake, spacious cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Prompt service, the ladies today were very lovely. Nice selection of food with reasonable prices. Coffee and food was good, easy parking. Can’t fault this place, will definitely be back to try other dishes."

"Pleasant Austrian themed pub brewery with delicious food beer and great decor. The Schnitzel plate was fantastic and the sauerkraut that accompanies it was spot on. The dark ale and Austrian lager were tasty as well. Pizza was well prepared but not to our taste."

"Husband and I stayed three nights and ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. excellent chef as eating was delicious and well presented with gourmet sauces and seasoning. they trained a completely new employee crew, but they were well-intentionally through experienced, friendly restaurant staff. outdoors could do with a fidget up, but interiors is stylish"

"Neat qerky idea of turning a house into a restaurant. Good range of alcoholic non alcoholic drinks. Had the 3 course menu with the eye fillet which was cooked perfectly. Disappointed that the shared side didn't come out until we were almost finished our main. When it did come out was a little dry portion size not suitable for 2 people. Had the sticky date pudding for dessert which was delicious."
In beautiful weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area, And into the accessible spaces also come visitors with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

"Brilliant food and service was great. Definitely will be on our list of go to places. I had the Belgian waffles and my partner had bacon and eggs. Love how they do their hot chocolate and my partner got a flat white and he is fussy with coffee but throughly enjoyed this 1. There lunch menu looked great so have to try lunch next time we come back through."

"When we visit Taupo, we often visit this restaurant. Every time without exception we have found the food and service very good. <br/ <br/ I am very surprised with some other less than complimentary posts about this eatery and I wonder if we are actually talking of the same place!!<br/ <br/ It is very Italian and has a good atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this place to one and all."

"After a few bumps we’ve finally found a great place to dine in Taupo. The atmosphere is amazing and very English to every single detail. The service was outstanding which it made our evening even better and the food didn’t disappoint. The serves were huge, I had the beef schinitzel and it was delicious, crispy and soft and to top it up the desserts were just as good. If you want to have a great experience altogether this is the place."
