"By car, by foot or by bike as was the case for us ... you can offer a very pleasant stop at the edge of this road that connects the france to the Italian. a breathtaking view of the Lac du Mont Cenis. I didn't have the pleasure to taste the dishes, but I took the raspberry and blueberry pie twice...and I was conquered!!! What is certain is that their sardines are no longer fraiches since they come out alive from a puit just in front of the restaurant at the request of the customers. the team is pleasant despite being overwhelmed at noon with the strong tributary associated with the magic of the panorama... so you have to enjoy taking the time!"

"Visited whilst skiing and was suprised at the quality of the food. Fresh cooked steaks, lovely fresh salads and a wide selection of snacks and desserts. Table service both inside and out on the terrace for food and sandwiches and crepes and self service for hot food but with items cooked to order. Great place to stop for a drink, snack or meal when skiing."

"It is a little set back and not the easiest to find. At the bottom of the entrace stairs is the bin area which doesnt give the best aroma. Location isnr best selling point!!Once inside a slightly different story. Service is low level but very friendly, including from the chef who came out to speak to every customer and made a fuss of the kids in the party. Pizza is pizza at the end of the day and this was goodWould I go back, yes for the service and food but I might have to hold my nose until inside!!"

"Arrived in Val Cenis the night before and not yet been too the supermarket so headed up to La Peau de Vache straight after a mornings skiing. The owner, who remembered us from our previous ski holidays, welcomed us in and soon had us seated at a table. The food was as good as we remembered. If you are looking for a good pizzas or a steak hache then you can't go wrong here. They even catered for my daughters gluten free diet without any fuss."

"Service attentionnés et soignés, tout en étant discret. La pierre chaude est servie avec d énormes frites et salade,ainsi que 3 sauces différentes. Les 3 viandes y sont très bonnes et copieuses. Le hamburger est très copieux également et délicieux. Nous avons été bien conseillé sur les apéritifs et le vin. Délicates attentions que sont les amuse bouches en début de repas et les miniardises au café. A part le tarif un peu onéreux ( 98 euros 2 adultes et un enfant ,sans dessert) ,nous n avons rien à redire. Impeccable"
