"The menu was the perfect size for a place that is only open from 7 a.m. to 2 PM. they had a lot of your normal breakfast choices and some good lunch options as well. The adult meals were a good quality for the price. The kids breakfast meals however I feel we're a little overpriced for the amount of food that was given. I still feel that the restaurant has some learning and growing to do at this point but it is quite new so that's understandable. I will most likely visit this restaurant again after a couple months to see how it has progressed."

"One of our family’s favorite spots when visiting Ames. This latest visit was a special treat after graduation festivities. We called ahead and we were able to get a seat quickly. They reserved a table for us and we were greeted so warmly when we arrived. The place was very busy but the manager and crew were attentive and kind. The food here is consistently delicious. It is always served hot by friendly wait staff. I highly recommend the steak sandwich served with a salad and house made dressing. Yum!!!"

"Go ahead and stop in. We almost missed it driving by, even with gps directions. Choosing out of hundreds of nearby restaurants during ISU move in day, we chose this and I’m glad we did. It’s a little pricey but the quality is great. Their wine list included some great choices. They do have small plates but that equals room for dessert so after we both had the gnocchi, we ordered a tiramisu. The tiramisu is one of the best I’ve had and is clearly made in house."
