"Called recently, on two occasions, and was not pleased with the chips on both occasions. Fish (cod) was ok, but the chips , tasted as if they had been cooked a while before I purchased them, very hard, and tasteless. never again, I am afraid."

"Hadn’t been to this pub for years as it was never the nicest place but it has had a really good makeover and we loved it in there.Proper pub with screens if you like sport but it’s just a great place for a drink.Cannot comment on food as we didn’t eat here but will definitely visit again when in Keswick."

"I would just like to thank the staff in their pub for being so helpful on Saturday, and to apologise again to the people on the side of the night when my dog decided to lock up on the whole floor. I was so embarrassed, but we're all so nice about it. about eating, it was really delicious and I and my sister enjoyed every mouthful.
