"My wife and I visited Hazelwood with no idea what to expect. We drove up to the location noticing it is located in a strip mall. We were seated very quickly, with the hostess giving very little thought and appreciation. Things turned around from there. It was busy, the crew kept things going and didn't miss a beat. We were tested to popovers with a hazelnut butter spread. My wife and I ordered an appetizer of sweet potato cakes with a sugar walnut glaze, which was absolutely amazing. "Really nice cruise. They followed all Kovid guidelines and it was still a great time. The boat is really nice updated with huge picture windows. Everything was clean and polished. You could say they are proud to serve their guests. They told the excursion with interesting quips about the history of the lake, the preservation of the lakes and those living in the large houses on the lake. The food was served family style and was delicious. They pay particular attention to detail and special requests. We celebrated our birthdays and the celebration cake with berry mousse was slightly fluffy and fresh. They had an open bar and open places to enjoy the outdoor area. The leaves were vibrant autumn colors and we had an excellent time."

"The food was subpar at best, and ridiculously overpriced for what you get. There are way to many great places on the water to waste your time here. The service was good as long as you have nowhere else to go. Also there hours fluctuate on a daily basis so if you have no other choice but to eat here call ahead to make sure they are open."
