"Nice choice of savoury and sweet dishes. I chose a ham sandwich on wholemeal bread. The roast ham looked hand carved ham and was delicious. My wife chose tuna mayo sandwich (always her safe option) but enjoyed a quarter of my sandwich. To follow, we shared banoffee pie which had chewy toffee and tasty crumbly Base with a thick layer of cream on top. The staff were very friendly. The food was prepared quickly and the view on a sunny day made my spirits rise. I'll be back."

"Stopped for lunch. Both of us had cod and chips. Fish was fine but chips awful and inedible. Tasted of burnt fat. When this was pointed out, I was told ‘this is what we always serve’. "Very, very good, as this was my 1st trip to Staithes. Also, the beers were lovely. The large steak pie, along with the peas, gravy, and the chips was amazing. Some of the people I was with did not think I would finish it, so when I did, I got a round of applause. It was a very enjoyable visit. Service: 5"
