"We stayed in Berrwiller for a week at the end of August 2015. There are 3 restaurants in the village and when we first wanted to get an evening meal, L'Abre Vert was the only one open. Three days later when we decided to go out again we didn't bother to look at an alternative choice this is a very good restaurant indeed. On our two visits we had both set menus and they were excellent. service is attentive without being too fussy or overbearing. The wine list is strong on Alsace (of course) but has good stuff from around France as well. On our first visit we were not happy with the wine we ordered and it was promptly replaced. Unreservedly recommend the restaurant."

"Much to our dismay, we stayed in the hotel for one night only but had the privilege to enjoye its complimetary services including the restaurant twice- evening and morning. We had a wonderful dinner with tasty dishes and professional service. We relied on the waiter to choose the appropriate wine and the choice was excellent. Recommended plates we enjoyed include:Le Fois gras de canard, Troute fumee, le Burger style Rossini, Tournedos de boeuf and the Panna Cotta a la vanill et sorbet mascrapone. Next morning we had another wonderful breakfast, with an unfinished array of salads, cheese, multiple styles of eggs preparation, wide assortment of freshly squeezed juices and Cremant, the local version of champagne ."

"I have been to the restaurant on Aug 13 with my family of 4 and had a great experience. If you happen to go through Berrwiller you would never imagine to find such a nice restaurant unless you know it already. Staff was really professional, fast and always ready to help and solve issues. Food is really good and you can feel that raw materials are at the foundation of the traditional but modern cousine they offer. Wine list is really comprehensive and able to satisfy any taste (not only French but international). Price is in line with the quality offered. I would definitely go back and explore more specialties. Merci beaucoup!"
