"Best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. We were passing through and decided to stop to eat at Carpe Vinum 121. The place is beautiful when you walk in and we were greeted immediately by a cheerful waiter. We had a few of the small plates, all of which were great, the fries and mussels were highlights for us. Our drinks were also really well made and when I was unsure about my selection they offered to replace my drink if I didn't end up liking it. But there was no need for that because the French 75 was wonderful. We were celebrating our anniversary and I mentioned this to who I believe was the owner. She brought us a complimentary slice of cheese cake with a lit candle and card. The slice was very large and incredibly rich. I have never been given a card at any restaurant I've been to when celebrating a special occasion. It was hand written wishing us a happy anniversary and it was signed by the staff and owners. I regretfully got distracted and walked out without the card but it meant a lot to us. I could not recommend this place enough to anyone in the area. I have no doubt it is the best in town."

"Came for a lunch with my mother and this is how my picked egg looked. it was so over boiled it was hard boiled. When I asked her to get it back, it took so long until my mother had finished her meal and we had to drink after filling. while I understand that these things happen, I also expect that reorder priority take. my server lisa was a dream, but the rest of my experience on these sites leaves much to wish. would not recommend."
