"Great food, excellent service. We were warmly welcomed into a traditional gasthaus, our waitress was friendly and efficient. The menu is varied and offers a good selection. The food was great, the wine good. This restaurant is well worth visiting. They will see us again!"

"Sunday visit. We could park next to Lotus. There's a great artwork in front of it. Each ordered a meal and a soup before. It was very busy, but after half an hour. It tasted really good. 137 with duck was awesome. Not very spicy for mild scissors. We'd like to come back. Just takeout right now. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner."

"Kurz vor unserem Aufenthalt in Prüm haben wir im Netz einen Artikel der besten fünf italienischen Eisdielen der Eifel entdeckt. Dort ist das Eis Café Stella Doro als Sieger, sozusagen als bestes ital. Eis der Eifel, deklariert. (Die Verifizierung des gesamten Tests ist schwierig, da "unsere persönliche numero uno" gar nicht aufgeführt wurde, aber egal)Was uns gefallen hat, war die Lage der Terrasse mit einem tollen Blick auf die (aktuellen Bauarbeiten drum herum, aber später wieder nur auf die) tolle Basilika. Ebenso die Auswahl der Eissorten ist wirklich umfangreich. Und auch der Geschmack des Eises war überzeugend.Somit kommen wir für uns zu dem Entschluss, dass sich der Genuss dieses Eises wirklich lohnt.Und gerne kommen wir nochmals vorbei - wenn da die Strecke nicht über 50km wäre und wir hier nicht auch über gute Eis macher verfügen würden - aber sicherlich wird es uns nochmals nach Prüm führen und dann auch ins Stella Doro"

"Traveling through Prüm we lunched at Wirtshaus am Hahnplatz and were surprised by the good service (waiter spoke fluent English English menu). The food was fresh, tasteful and also reasonably priced. Big German portions!"

"We dropped in for a quick coffee whilst shopping in Prüm. The place looks very pleasant and has a nice terrace although it was far too cold to sit there. Tables are comfortable and it is very spacious inside. Friendly staff that explained the coffees,...chocolates and cake (in a wonderful display). The coffee was good, espresso could have been a little stronger to my liking. However, the cakes were fantastic. We had three different cakes and all of us loved them. Prices were very low as we paid under euro's for coffees and cakes."
