"This restaurant is in a very off the beaten path spot. It alarmed me when we were able to get reservations easily on a Friday night... but it was a unique and enjoyable dining experience. The food was excellent. I definitely enjoyed the solenya, anassortment of Russian pickled vegetables. The shrimp escargot appetizer was great. The rack of lamb, perfect. The decor hasn'tbeen updated since the 70s, I think. And the waiter was terrible. We would have ordered more drinks if he'd been at allattentive. The side salad was sad. But except for the service and salad, the experience was great and it was nice having theplace nearly to ourselves."
