"Honestly this was the most disappointing Hawaiian food I've ever had. It was my first time there, I was the first one up in line and they didn't even acknowledge I was there. Finally they asked what I wanted, I got the Katsu, Kimchi, Macaroni Salad, White Rice, Teriyaki Chicken and Spicy Ahi Poke. The Ahi Poke comes in a small container bowl, for the extra cost not worth it. The Teriyaki Chicken and Katsu were flavorless. I was not a fan at all, the macaroni salad had potatoes in it? I've never had Hawaiian Macaroni Salad with potatoes, it did not taste that great. Kimchi was also very bland. When I was asked what sauce I wanted I asked for 3 sirachas, when I got home I had 5 soy sauce packages. I'd much rather go to Island Flavor 808 even if it's more of a drive. First and last time."

"I choose this place to the birthday of my daughter, because he is really close to home and she really loves hibachi. Unfortunately, this place was not good at all. first seats were not available, we wait long for the Hibachi set to fill out. the server was not good, he forgets everything, I ordered a starter and came almost with the food. the suppe was not served the chef was a total catastrophe. he cooked the meat first as the rice, spilled salsa over my hemd, had no ability to be a hibachi kocher. I mentioned my wife is allergic to seafood and he didn't care about it. he cooked meat, seafood and rice at the same time, very disappointed. I can't imagine my wife being poisoned. I can't speak for the rest of the parties at the table, they didn't look happy either. very sad. we will never come back."

"This place has probably the chillest vibe on a Saturday for any ayce sushi place in Vegas. Soundtrack of easy listening hits and comfortable booths. Menu is abundant with options including apps and rolls not offered elseware. Perhaps my favorite thing about this place though is that you can get a half roll of up to 2 specialty rolls per person, which allows you to try more variety. My favorite was the Leonardo Special 2, which has shrimp tempura with spicy crab and torched beef on the outside and was topped with a spicy garlic ponzu and crispy onion. It was a truly unique complex flavored and textured roll that I haven't seen elsewhere. One of the things I did not particular enjoy in comparison to other places is that they still garnish with sesame seeds but it doesn't say it on the menu. All the apps that we tried were delicious and I would totally order again because they offer smaller 2 or 3 piece portions as well as normal size ones, which I also haven't seen offered elsewhere. The service by the servers was a bit lacking not in friendly or enthusiasm but they seemed overworked perhaps due to limited staffing. It resulted in my plate of sushi being needed to made three times until it was correct due to the sesame garnish that I couldn't have due to my allergy that I mentioned on the first delivery. They were super apologetic but I just felt bad about wasting food as my friend had already eaten the first one delivered. There were also items ordered that we needed to check on as they were never delivered to the table. I'd come back for the specialty rolls and apps but be mindful to be a bit more aggressive upfront about allergy to avoid food waste."

"First time visit yesterday evening and was disappointed. This is characterized as a Japanese upscale restaurant. While I recognize they are good at sushi they fall short in the limited menu outside of sushi and the poor food quality and preparation.I ordered Tiger Shrimp Tempura and got rubbery shrimp with a thick doughy coating. Tempura batter is light and crispy and itamazes me that they don't know that and overcooked the shrimp. I sent the entire dish back and based on the waiter's reaction itseemed like he had to deal with this issue before. I ordered the wings which were decent. My wife ordered snow crab Californiaroll and while it was decent the portion size was the smallest I had ever seen for the $22 price tag. The wine list for wine bythe glass is very limited. For example the only cab available is Dou which is a very sweet and not a popular choice for most cabdrinkers. The one positive was the staff who were attentive and efficient. Overall this restaurant does not qualify as aJapanese restaurant because many traditional Japanese dishes are not on the menu. The food is over priced and the restaurantsperception that they are upscale is delusional and without any merit."
