"Beautiful restaurant on jeffrey street in edinburgh good choice of steak and seafood funny enough! we had scallops and haggi's buck bond to begin and then rump and sirloin steak with chips tomaten and inherited purée. beautiful service and good atmosphere in restaurant. also some beautiful prosecco for 4.50 a pop. question."

"Popped in on the way home from a long day out. Our order was simple; there was only four of us and two of us only wanted a portion of chips. The chap serving got the order wrong on first attempt and didn't seem to comprehend what we were asking for. Anyhow got the food (takeaway) and returned to our apartment just around the corner from there. We then opened a very disappointing meal. The order was still wrong we had gained, and most likely had been charged for, an extra battered sausage. This wasn't an issue in itself though. However, the sausage was rock hard and barely warm (we were literally a 5 min walk away) and the chips were awful. I would go as far as to say they were the worst chips I've ever had and I ended up chucking them in the bin. Best place for them sadly. As a result I would not recommend you get your (fish and) chips here there must be better places out there."

"This is my favorite chip in edinburgh! not only they make the best pizza (or at least it tastes like the best every time I am there at 3 o'clock), but the personal is very friendly and welcomes them always with a smile, although it is very late or early in the morning. also the chips are large and the portions are massive. a piece of pizza is usually enough to fill me. I recommend this place for everyone who is looking for a late evening in the opposite."

"Lots of vegan options which is great. Tofish was ok but needed more nori and scampi was really lovely texture and well cooked but quite flavourless. Chips were grand but it was all a bit cold. Overall it was ok but wouldn’t get it again."
