"In a few minutes Allechant became our favorite restaurant in Ithaca. We were greeted by the owner, Reeve, who left the way to find us a table despite our lack of reservation. It followed a 20-minute get-to-know-you interview, which was really delightful. The menu consisting of about 10 gourmet dishes were so tempting, we could not decide what to order. I got the eggs Edinborough (which is a salmon variant on Eggs Benedict), my daughter got the lemons Souffle Pancakes. Both Food Channel quality dishes: unique, fresh, seasoned to perfection, beautifully plated and delicious! The waiter was also remarkably friendly and helpful. We look forward to becoming regular customers who give us the opportunity to enjoy the other menu items."
