"Definitely worth the long drive if you’re around Bordeaux Cognac. Beautifully decorated and restored windmill and best of all an excellent dinner awaited us after having travelled from La Rochelle. The hostess is a very good cook as well as the suggested menus."

"One of only two restaurants in the area, we had eaten at the other for lunch. This is a truck stop with a continuous in and out of big rigs and drivers. The await staff were very friendly and helpful particularly given our broken French. Definitely eating with the locals as noted in previous reviews and basic food well prepared. Large entre buffet, choice of 5 plats and dessert, 13.50€."
