"Business diner with other colleagues. Italian restaurant with italian style and italian waiters...The menù shows italian recipes, which indeed seems adapted to local tastes once the dish is on the table. The restaurant would be in the average, in taly, but here is of high quality. Prices are high, in line with the expensive switzerland. Some prices totally out of range, wine in particular. What to say, it's a recommended place if people is running dry of spaghetti..."

"Stayed at the fabulous River Residence on our way back to Munich and had dinner downstairs in their restaurant separately run by Tobi and his Team. Well the menu was very creative the quality of the food outstanding and the chef shows that he loves his job and has tons of international experience. Not what we expected in this little town but it blew us away. It’s a must of you stay in Baden! Not for those who wish to have a schnitzel and French fries!! "This was my 6th time at the "zur Heimat" at lunch with my family (my wife and two small daughters) and, this time, my sister.I appreciate that the menu is regularly updated, following the seasonal specialties.At lunch, there is a good choice of three menus (soup, salad and main course) or the great "a la carte".This restaurant offers exotic and unique tastes from very different traditions and this is a great advantage for me. Otherwise in Switzerland it is quite difficult to find restaurants which can offer some different tastes.This time the fish dish I had was great as usual.For the first time we ordered the kid dish "chicken nuggets + french fries"... Hand made chicken nuggets! You could really feel a crispiness which I never saw in any chicken nuggets I ate in any restaurant! Absolutely excellent!The wine list is very generous offering also a lot of wines from their wine shop.The bread is always hand made, with fine herbs and presented in a unique way...The dessert, this time, was a chocolate cake with hot chocolate inside and vanille ice cream. It was very good, like the typical French moeulleux au chocolat.The service by Ms Melina, as usual, was very nice, children friendly and the pace good: not too fast and not too slow (Absolutely no pressure, even if we are often eating until reaching the closing time of 14:00 o'clock...)"
