"We decided to eat here, because it was very busy in st. guilhem and we (wrongly assumed that the latter would be more expensive. there are a few restaurants in this quiet place in st. jean. it was on the afternoon at 2:30 a.m. and that was the only restaurant that was served (we asked us on the other 2. the menu was limited (but that was ok with us to moules frites, huhn (avec frites and salat, all around 12:50 euro. my partner chose the moule and after the question about the salat (it would have chosen that after the waiter I chose it. after a reasonable time (there was another couple in the restaurant at the time when our food arrived. I was shocked to see my 12:50 Euro salad. a few shreds of eisberg salat, a few very then slices of anemic tomaten and a fiber band of gurke, with a few cabinets of a vinaiigrette (home made I doubt!? and a (artistic!? flu around the edge of the shreds. To be honest, mcdonalds would have done much better, would have been fresher and would have cost a fraction of the price (both in dirt layers I do not eat at mcdonalds! . in august in this part of frankreich they are surrounded by beautiful markets that are flooded with wonderful obstinate and sweet (although free from eisberg salat! the moule of my partner were edible, but the portion size was too small for a main course. we had to ask for brot, but he was almost done when it arrived, before I left, I asked to speak to the manager and to express my unbelievable. no refund was just a quantity of hand waving. it was the worst case of a restaurant that was demolished, I have insulted the customer without repayability or in some way (some places could offer them a free glass of wine or a desert or something. I can't say eat here!"

"We went with family in this cabbage restaurant located near the Astronomical Observatory of Aniane. This establishment deserves stars; The welcome is warm, healthy and abundant food, prepared house with selected products in the region and the boss knows perfectly the wines he makes us share. It was in October and we were only able to enjoy the terrace for the apéro but the place is magical and we are going to come back to the beautiful season to better enjoy the view. Thank you to the team who treated us so well and bravo for the meal!"

"A little disappointed with our lunch today. The terrace restaurant was quite busy but well into service. We ordered two salads. We waited in excess of 40 minutes for the very simple dishes to arrive. My husband had the Montagne salad which he said was okay. The jambon was a little on the tough side but otherwise ok. I opted for the l’Itallienne salad which was billed as pasta, tomatoes, olives and Parmesan. What I got was a huge bowl of macaroni with some shaved Parmesan, around 6 black Olives, a couple of bits of chopped lettuce mixed in and a small bowl of ‘sauce’ which tasted remarkably like mayonnaise. All for €13.80. I was disappointed as I had expected a proper salad with maybe a few pieces of pasta thrown in for good measure. I was not offered any black pepper and there was no salt and pepper on the table either so it was a very bland meal. The waitress who served us was friendly though but we did not linger for desert."

"We stopped here for lunch on the way to Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert. We rarely order burgers in Europe as they are almost always bad. But we had good reviews about them. You didn't disappoint. They were handmade, juicy and cooked to order (rare. The fries were also delicious. A carafe of the house red was also a pleasant surprise. The service was very good despite the language barrier. Would highly recommend this place. I wish we could have been sitting outside, but it was just too windy."
