"The building finally found its niche. It changed hands several times until the current owner made it work. The restaurant has daily specials that are fast but really good. The nacho special on Friday is a great option for 2 people who are slightly lean on funds. A big nacho with basic toppings for $8.00 plus it's real food and not a burger? Not too bad! The restaurant itself is pretty basic and a throwback to the older Detroit restaurants on Bagley. Inside are old saddles and even a really old piece of great Americana history on one wall which the owners have no idea about! Overall, the environment is basic, relaxed, and clean. It really has the charm of a small family owned Taqueria. I gave it four outta five stars only because the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious but sometimes the dinners could be a little meatier, if meatier makes sense? However, that's an issue in many places and I assume it's a problem with cooks more than the establishment. Besides, 5 stars says perfection and I can't wait to say any place was perfect so 4 outta 5 is pretty good for a little place.Finally, we eat there often enough but tend to use the carry-out menu at least once or twice a month. The staff is really nice and always strive to ensure our orders are perfect."

"I'd like to come back for pasta or pizza. The burger I had was just fine. Smaller Patty size. Service was excellent and the prices are much more reasonable than I thought they were. I recommend this place to so many people, I love the surroundings and the quiet atmosphere inside."

"I’ve been to this location plenty of times in almost 9 out of 10 times they are out of veggies, I foolishly go..praying that maybe things have gotten better , only to be disappointed . The other day I went in they didn’t even have brown rice. The service is terrible. I’m thinking to myself how hard is it to just replace something that you’re low on….? People come to Chipotle for fresh food and you don’t have the product that people are coming there for. Well I guess i’ll go to Qdoba at least they have everything."

"There food is great much much better then the commercial Mexican food like taco (Hell) bell everyone thinks is good Mexican food but it's NOT!!! Pancho's is more authentic than any other restaurant within a three to five mile range from my house that I have found. There salsa could use some work it's not bad it's just watery looking and a little bland in the taste if you don't like your mouth on fire. I love love love their enchiladas it's the best tasting I've had since I've had my mother's enchiladas. Which is saying a lot."
