"It pretends to be a fine dining restaurant but it really isn’t. Food was mediocre to subpar and overpriced. Atmosphere was kinda tacky. Very nice staff tho."

"Owner was lovely to talk with. Wine tasting gave you an education and an appreciation for the options this winery offers. We tried a couple whites, a couple reds, and a couple ports. We did not have any food. The friends we were with, drop in here every month for both the food and wine options and are members. It is their favorite winery on the island."

"After 18 holes on a very L O N G golf course went to late lunch. Had the soup (Beef Barley) and sandwich (Pulled Pork)....SO good. The waitress was excellent and was very proud that she was all there (except the bread)... Homemade is a good thing!"

"So good! This is a walk up window with an outdoor seating area in front. It is a tiny mom and pop place, so it takes a little while but oh so worth it! Fresh and delicious. We had grilled halibut that was just perfect, mine on a yummy salad and hubby's on a sandwich with generous fries. Just fyi, there are picnic tables behind the marine museum a short walk from this place that are more spacious."
In pleasant weather you can even be served in the outdoor area, And into the accessible rooms also come visitors with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

"If I could give this place 3.5 stars that would be my true rating. What I liked: the glass of Bacchus, Alderlea white wine and the view. Our server was very nice but a tad forgetful. She forgot the side of mayo and forgot to bring us our drinks so we hadto ask for everything again. We ordered the calamari because they were out of muscles. To not get customers hopes up, I'drecommend either telling your customers what you're out of before they start exploring the menu or cross it off the menu. Thecalamari is nice meaty cuts but it's heavily battered with a bland whitish batter. Also, the way the calamari was presented wasodd to me. The large spoon which contained the calamari was resting in the dipping sauce. That seems like a waste of sauce andtook away from how much is available for dipping. The fish and chips was ok, but the fish might have been a bit overlydeep-fried. Perhaps snapper is not the best fish for fish and chips because it's so thin. I can't recommend either of the fooditems we ordered. Would I go back? Yes because I hear thier chowder is delicious and that location is truly special."
