"Great food, pity about the waiters. We reserved a particular table earlier but on arrival others were sat there. We were given another table upstairs which wasn't as nice. The food was lovely, the escalope Savoyarde was delicious and highly recommended. Unfortunately the waiter serving us was less pleasing, had had the grace and manners of a bull in a China shop. Our empty starter plates were wisked off the table while I was still eating, he crashed his way around us, and as we were still there when the room was emptying there was a lot of spraying and cleaning going on as well. Not particularly efficient cleaning at that. This was all done with a face like thunder.It's a shame as otherwise we liked the restaurant very much. Hope it was just his off day and not a regular occurrence or perhaps he just doesn't like the English."

"We took lunch in the restaurant of the hostel with a large group of friends. Despite the size of the group, the owners of the restaurant managed to serve us a varied lunch. We especially enjoyed the plum pie and the dessert pie."

"We had just travelled 4 hours to Bruz, and were aware that Sunday evening in France and in far flung villages aren't buzzing with places to eat, the opposite ...we enquired at our hotel they know best whats's going on and they recommended this petit restaurant just 5 minutes away... Parking, in front of the door, no issue, Sunday evening, lights on and OPEN ! So, in we went, the restaurant is small but not tiny, modern furnishings and nicely presented, service immediate we were the only guests at that time and the menu was surprisingly a pleasant choice of grilled beef, lamb and some other dishes; and inexpensive 8.80 for many dishes My son took Steak, and I chose my favourite meat Lamb....with fries and beans. Sufficient, except that the meat was black she did enquire as to how I wish it to be cooked á point medium rare , but this was not just well done, but BURNT and they were NOT lamb chops......the steak, however, was ok! Wine, sides, dessert, bread all ok and not expensive, but obviously something went very wrong with the lamb.. and he had only that to cook.... still, we will go there again, but probably watch over the cook, cooking...."
