"The fish was lovely and perfectly cooked, although I would have preferred crumbed (they only offer flake crumbed and I can't eat flake). I really enjoyed the potato scallop- batter was delicious and the potato lovely and soft inside. Chips were a little average- not bad but not the best I've had either. Overall, a nice meal that satisfied my craving for fish and chips."

"Dropped in when the lunch special sign was noticed next to the hotel .Wasn't disappinted with the meal or the price as it was great value accompanied by very polite service. The naan bread was fresh from the tandoor oven and there was choice of curry types even with the lunch special menu plus a free soft drink.The RSL though is not what is expected with service clubs - not that many services here but rating is for the restaurant."

"Three of dined for lunch yesterday opting for the 2-course lunch special, a bottle of wine and an espresso martini each. We all had the chowder and very much enjoyed this. Two of us had the beef cheek which just melted in your mouth as did the mash. Our third member enjoyed the pink ling. fantastic service and ambience and one of the best all-round meal experiences I have enjoyed."
