"Beautifully Quaint. Room was spacious. Bed very comfortable. Location and private parking a bonus. Gilly was an amazing host. Her knowledge of the area and ideas for day trips proved invaluable. What can I say about Breakfast? The fresh fruit to the freshly cooked, what you desire, breakfast was amazing. Thank you Gilly."

"Absolutely amazing cream tea(Americano to) after a beautiful dog walk from Looe harbour. Staff very friendly and all the covid measures put in place to keep us safe. Scones, jam and cream tasted great. Exactly what I needed for the return leg. Dog enjoyed a few treats to. Look forward to coming back soon."

"Love an authentic tea room as this has to be the best one I've ever been to. Nothing beats the decor, ambiance and views! The scones were so soft, clotted cream so smooth and jam was so rich. Could not have asked for more while enjoying the view on a warm summer day. Kids loved the special hot chocolate too!"

"Wow, an excellent experience. We had the most amazing meal at Couch's last night. Very friendly, very interactive very timely, very happy service all night even after we had finished. Not usually a big lover of soup .. but wow the Amuse Bouche was brilliant, flavours hitting the taste buds with the soup, the butter and the sea salt brioche. My partner and I had Crab and Scallops for starters which were devine. A generous portion of Hake was fantastic with what can only be called a ring of flavour being an unbelievable Salsa Verde. The trio of desserts brought up the rear with no less pleasure. The chocolate bonbon being the star for me. A wonderful bottle of Pinot helped cement the pleasurable experience for us. Bravo Richard and his team at Couch's, well done for presenting us with the best meal we've ever had."

"My vegan mother and I have been coming to Polperro for years, but for some reason only the plantation tearooms have tried! You have loads of great vegan (and veggie options, and a completely separate vegan/veggie menu that is very clear. They have vegan cheese and are also very generous with it. There is also an option of a vegan plough that I could not find anywhere in Cornwall! The staff is super nice and the prices are reasonable. The only thing I would mention is that they do not serve alcohol, but if you desperate for a beer, it is not as if there were not a lot of pubs nearby you can visit later;"
