"Food was good. It's like going to Denny's but a little better. I will say that the average age of patrons tend to be 55 and older. Some foods are prepared underseasoned. Service was cool and I never really had a problem here. I didnt like that we couldnt get our order to-go. My mom and I were done playing for the night and we wanted something we could eat in the room."

"I had the New England clam chowder, wings and jumbo shrimp. The chowder was on point. The wings were great. The jumbo shrimp were a little over fried but still decent.The time to get seated here is often long but once you're seated service is good.3.5 stars."

"This is by far the worst of the North County casinos. For the last 20 years they haven't improved their operation one bit. While all the competing casinos in the area (Valley View, Harrah's Rincon, Pala) have built resorts, and expanded and improved their properties, Pauma still remains a tent in the middle of an orange grove. Their parking lot has no shade, they don't offer free soda like the other casinos, and the staff aren't really too friendly. The odds are worse here than at other casinos. They still hand shuffle two decks for blackjack so that the odds are so stacked against you that you can't even enjoy a couple hours of play before they take all your money! Please avoid this place and just go to the other, nicer casinos."

"Spent a full at the pool for our nieces, nephews and children to enjoy (JULY 26, 2023). We rented a large cabana for our family to relax and toddlers to nap in, which was nice; but unfortuantely, the cabana bed had white stains on one side of the bed showing it wasn't cleaned. Pretty gross. A waitress arrived to welcome us. She asked if we wanted anything to eat or drink. We ordered drinks in which she asked for a card to start a tab. My husband asked to pay as we go, but she suggested a debit or credit is required. He tried to give her a VISA gift card but she said it would not work. My husband did not feel comfortable giving her his credit card but wanted to get the order going for the family. We closed out the tab at the end of our cabana rental, and finally got the credit card back. The next morning, my husband received alerts on his phone about potenital fraud on the card he used to open a tab. Luckily, the credit card company was on top of it and declined these purchases. He immeadialtely requested for a replacement card. I think he was targeted because of his foreign looking name, and the possibility of not knowing English (which we are all fluent in). It is ashame that Harrah's employees are taking advantage of patrons by taking their credit card information and using it for their purchases. Just be vigilant of your debit/credit card use whicle at the pool/bar. My recommendation is to use cash to be safe."
