"The Tortuga Räucherschiff is located in the Greifswalder Museumhafen, where there are excellent fish rolls and a changing snack offer. I'm on Usedom for a week and have to look for a long time until I find an offer of similar quality. The service is moody and sympathetic, everything is freshly prepared. "This place is really nice. Didn't get a chance to try the drinks, but there is a lot of vegan hot drinks including lattes of all kinds (caramel, pumpkin spice, gingerbread, Spekulatius, etc. regular coffee drinks, teas, and more. Will have to go back to try them. We went for lunch and had the pasta with cashew pesto and soy bolognese, and had waffles with vegan whip and hot cherries as dessert. Highly recommended! All the cakes were all vegan when we went. Updated from previous review on 2022-03-21"

"Bernd and Tina offer hand-picked delicacies in pleasure production. Especially the coffee enthuses me. A regionally roasted coffee (Probat Drum Braten) is used from the salted Braterei Kontor Scheele. The various coffee offers are prepared with lots of love and professional skills. You can enjoy excellent homemade cakes or multifaceted pastries from Tina. The best for me, however, is the individual breakfast offer. Bernd enchants a delicious breakfast on the table with great attention to detail. Thanks for the GROßARTIGE offer and the reception. The Gourmet Factory in Greifswald is my favorite in terms of coffee, breakfast and service."

"Have been eating there more often and always enthusiastic. Nice, open-minded and very courteous service, reasonable waiting times, always a small greeting from the kitchen and quite wonderful food! For everyone, be vegetarians or carnivores! Absolutely recommended!!!"

"We have dined here at least five times in the last couple years. Not many Americans visit the Greifswald area, but it is a delight--as much like Sweden as it is Germany, I am told. To avoid endless superlatives, I will simply say that the food at Buettner's is Michelin star quality--but the service is better than that. The staff is professional and attentive but warm--in a good way. I am not sure the locals realize that they have a culinary treasure in their midst."
