If no one in your party is fluent in Japanese, I would recommend bringing a card that explains your nutritional needs. Once they understood what we wanted, the staff was very friendly, helpful and helpful. And the food was absolutely delicious! A real taste of Japanese cuisine. "The cafe millet offers a simple bus ride from kyoto and offers them a lunch in their sunny dining room with views of the agricultural fields of the family. our meal included squash potage, tofu, grilled and picked vegan, vegan pizza, rice with aduki beans, edamame, vegan quiche, green salad, applet, herbal tea/coffee. home baked brot was served with (optional) honey harvested by her hives. the ambiente is quiet, the personal is friendly, the owner speaks English. she kindly offered us to drive us to a nearby village, ohara to visit tempelgartens. portions are moderate, Japanese style (2500 yen.) the beauty of the environment and the quality/presentation of the food makes it worth the price. the caffe sponsors art, music, craft events . reservations required: tel 075-741-3303; Email:[email protected] transport: take the Kyoto bus 34 from the demachiyanagi station. use the exit 7 (scalator from the Keihan line; bus stop e is right in front of the station. take the bus to the end station shiroyama. go 3 minutes directly in front of the farm house on the left side of the main road, down small stung (old road.) there is a sign in front of the house millet we have reserved our meal by email, as we do not have a phone. updated by previous review on Friday, 16 October 2015"
