"Versatile offer, very tasty Kaiserschmarren. Highly recommend pizza. With the rest, the portions were a bit small for the price and the dish was only lukewarm. The waitresses were very friendly, but some things were forgotten or misunderstood. Unfortunately, this was repeated, so here a point deduction. "Das Lokal ist urig, die Möblierung ist nicht wirklich ansprechend, aber das Tischdeko macht einiges wett. Das Restaurant is sehr voll gewesen, und die Akustik erlaubte uns nicht, ein vernünftiges Gespräch zu führen (schade, denn es handelte sich um eine wichtige Person, die wir 7 Jahre nicht gesehen haben). Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, herzlich und kompetent. Es wird eine solide Heimatküche serviert. Wenn man genau das sucht, wird auch fündig und qualitativ wie auch mengenmässig verwöhnt. Da ich persönlich das Gefühl, bereits nach der Vorspeise zu platzen, nicht besonders mag und die kulinarische Highlights ausgeblieben sind, halt sich die Begeisterung auch in Grenzen. Ausserdem, fehlte dem Essen vollkommen die Würze. Preis ist angemessen, aber nicht wirklich günstig. Wir werden sicherlich zurückkommen, um jemanden, der auf die tradizionelle, sehr schwere Kost viel Wert legt, einen Gefallen zu tun, aber nicht, um einen romantischen Abend zu verbringen."

"The waitress was very friendly, helpful and efficient (the only reason to give 3 stars else none, or at most one). The dish (Barbarensteak) was very, very salty (by accident, it seems)! So much that it was cancelling all other tastes. The meat (rumpsteak)...was cooked at the correct color, but was dry and bland (taste felt after removing the salt by absorbing it with the potatoes). In the air is plenty of smell and fumes from the kitchen, as they cook with the door open. than two hours after eating there, I have a dry mouth and try to drink a lot of water to “clean” the salt, that I even feel as acid in my stomach. We have to put the clothes outside, with the hope that the smell will go out until tomorrow. For the cook: it seems that the salt was coming from the corn covering the meal or from the herb butter. Improvement proposals: 1. Keep the kitchen door closed at all times and, if needed, install a good exhaust hood 2. Buy proper meat from a local farm 3. Control better the recipes"
