"Having stayed here with my wife for many years past I was expecting friendly good service as before. I was not disappointed in the Staff who were Great but the Manager was sarcastic insolent to the point of self satisfied rudeness which made me feel.ill .sorry for him. I tho k.he should mot be in.a customer facing environment! Made me sick spoilt stay. Will retain.happy memories but will .NOT be back.meantime. Large bug appeared from under bed on.morning of departure. I think it was going to check out same time as me but I made it earlier!"

"If there is somewhere better locally for treating yourself to a special and memorable meal I have yet to find it. It's a pity I'm only allowed to award 5 stars because it is worth more than that. Staff are professional and welcoming and the atmosphere in the dining room is relaxed. The early bird menu is a winner for early diners but you can also order off the main menu for a more extensive choice. Without a doubt this is a top notch restaurant as evidenced by the fact that it is quite difficult to get a booking unless you book several weeks ahead."

"We just stumbled at this place because bushmills distillery was a total waste of time with a säugling, but we were especially glad to find this place. we have jumped through all the places around the city center, but immediately noticed that this place was the only one packed, it happened also at midday. that is always a good sign: locals know the best. eating was great quality with a very fair price. I had a lunch offer that randomly had a decent bowl of Irish one-pot wife fish chips. coffee and latte was also good, the cakes at the end were thoroughly prepared, tasted fresh and great overall. the personal was very friendly and professional. they were paying particular attention to cleanliness, which did not pass through with the bill, although several people commanded us. for the atmosphere it is also worth pointing out that the complimentation of its cozy environment actually play suitable music that is a rareness in each country. Overall, I would say this place should serve as a model for many manic restaurants, how a great experience should be for a lunchtime."

"Myself and my two sons visiting from Canada visited this restaurant as one of the stops per our tour bus driver to the Giant's causeway. We all had the seafood chowder. It was awesome and sizeable chunks of seafood in the chowder. We also had the Guinness Soda bread, also great."

"Had two chicken sandwiches which were very good. Order of fries was huge and very good. Still no ketchup in bottle anywhere in Ireland so if you’re a ketchup lover be prepared to open small packets. Had a hot Baileys and chocolate cake with ice cream that was also delicious."

"I have been getting out of this chippy for years when visiting Bushmills or Portballintrae. Never disappoints. Even when the place is packed too the door with people."

"When I first moved to the area. I tried the China Garden one weekend evening, when I hadn't the energy to cook. The person taking my order was friendly. Sadly the Chicken Curry only bore the most remote resemblance to what the average Chinese take-away serves. I use the word average on purpose, because I want to make clear, that I wasn't expecting the best meal of my life. There was some heat to the chicken curry, but other than that, no particular taste of any spices. The dish was so bad that I left most of it and my confidence in any complaint being handled correctly was so low, that until now, I never bothered to comment. You would be better throwing your money in the the nearby River Bush."
