"We found this charming restaurant on our tour around the Dentelles de Montmirail, a winemaker recommended it to us. La Roque-Alric is a very small village set against a giant rock, you have to park your car in the public space at the bottom and walk up the streets. The restaurant is to the right. Dutch owner Joanna was very welcoming and charming, the season has only just started for her and it is still a bit quiet. For us it was paradise to sit in the romantic garden, roses flowering, a set menu on the blackboard. Joanna recommended amazing wine from her small well selected wine list and disappeared into the kitchen to prepare the food. It was country cuisine at it's best."
