"Newport news location closed, went to hampton. steak and sides were delicious. my quesadilla burger with topping was a burger I had not before. it wasn't disappointed. I can't get rid of any fries. not busy and not empty, beautiful atmosphere!"

"This place has continued to go down hill. The building is not that old, but is looking run down and very unkempt. Very slow, poor quality products, and very inconsistent. High employee turn over rate. Multiple times the iced coffee with cream sugar, mocha had so much cream it might as well just be milk. I watched them pour in foodlion generic coffee creamer into the drink. This time the same drink has so much mocha syrup, I might as well just drink the syrup straight out of the bottle. How hard is it to make coffee by the instructions that is drinkable?"

"I would avoid this place like the plague. Terrible customer service. The drinks taste drastically different depending on who makes them. They are slow to help customers and even slower making your order. They never have croissants or whipped cream. Last time I went 2 weeks ago they “forgot” an egg on my bacon egg and cheese croissant almost forgot one of our drinks and they tasted terrible. Meanwhile their crackhead looking manager is walking around not doing anything but talking extremely loud(passively telling customers) saying if we are taking too long they can go somewhere else, if they don’t like it tough, etc. blaming their lack of speed and accuracy on being short staffed but there are at least 3 people working. If the manager got off her a and worked they would be quicker. Like I said this place is terrible and I will never go back until there’s new management and employees with proper training."

"I mean, it’s McDonald’s, they are always hit or miss. Staff will change constantly (most places are very short staffed right now) as will the quality of food and service. However, I can say that I’ve had far more good experiences at this location than bad."

"Ambiance:*Trendy looking*Decorated well*Music was a tad loud*We went around 5, and there were a few people there already. As we waited for our food, the restaurant filled up quite a bit more.Service:*Shannon was our server, and she was great. Very helpful and upbeat. If she didn 't know an answer, she immediately went to someone to get it.*Unfortunately, service was slow (not Shannon 's fault). There were 2 people in the kitchen, so maybe they were short-handed? Either way, it took a very long time for us to get our food.*The table next to us was never acknowledged, and they ended up leavingFood:*Menu is small but very customizable*I was a little bummed the charcuterie board wasn 't on the menu (I kept seeing pics on here of them)*I got a double stack, and it was VERY good*My partner got a thick burger, which was also very good. He also ordered the brussels sprouts and mac and cheese. The brussel sprouts were delicious, and the mac and cheese was also good.*Our friend ordered a prime rib, and it came out on a sizzling plate much like fajitas. It was pre cut.*They have a couple of vegetarian options*The Brazilian limeade was very good, as was the cafe con leche martiniOverall:*Our order wasn 't fully correct nor fulfilled (neither myself nor our friend got our fries), but Shannon was apologetic, and the issues were remedied by removing the missing items off the bill. "We usually never have issues with food itself, it's standard Wendy's. The issue always comes with the wait. I always do mobile orders, and no matter how long ahead I put in the order, we have to pull around to wait for the burgers after getting our drinks. No big deal, aside from forgetting to give us straws a couple times. Today though, we pulled around to wait for the food as usual. Waited about 10 minutes, about the normal wait time. But when the food was brought out, the employee walked away when we asked about straws. And when we got home, they had forgotten an entire burger from our order. Disappointing. We got used to waiting, we get that it's a hard job. But missing burgers despite the wait just really sucks.Update: Came back weeks later around 10:20pm to discover the drive thru menu completely dark, and an employee had to yell out of the window as we were driving away to ask if we had Doordash or Grubhub. An hour and a half before stated closing time of midnight. We replied that we had a mobile order and were told to drive around to the front, where we waited for over ten minutes. When we just ordered nuggets, fries, and a drink. Really a shame when the food is always perfectly fine, it's just the wait and the lack of consistency with the service."
