"We were in the beer garden for dinner with dog. The service was very hectic and unfriendly despite some guests. I had a pig roast that was okay. My wife had cheese parrots that were dry and slightly seasoned. My son had Savenger with Pommes, where the Pommes were the only good. The Scavenger was without sauce, dryness, fat and without taste. Without a drink it was hard to eat. He reads me taste and I was glad not to have ordered it. Of the quality we were disappointed and will not come back. Since there are several good reviews, perhaps there is a difference between private guests and the customer? During our 1 week stay in Zandt, it was the worst food in a local environment. What user Luisel describes in food courses I cannot understand."

"I've eaten three or four times at Lieblingsplatz never been disappointed. Tasty food, large serving sizes and the owners really seem to care about animals. The restaurant has a Biergarten style outdoor-dining area, which is really nice on sunny days. Even though it may not be the best restaurant in the whole world, it certainly is the best one in the area. Since the Bavarian Forest may not be renowned for its veggie restaurants, this oasis vastly enriches the food supply'. Hint: The entrance of their shop is a little hidden be sure to visit their first floor. Besides many non-food articles the shop also offers vegan sweets, dog-treats and other packaged vegan food."
