"We had fantastic service, thought the pizzas were good (big but thin crusts) and the bill was very reasonable. We went on a Friday night and were lucky to get a table, it's clearly very popular with the locals."

"OK, I am not too chossy eater but I appreciate good quality and good tastes. This restaurant guarantees both. I felt in love with Smeralda's food almost 20 years ago and always staying in Monferrato I'm trying to have one dinner at least. All these years they keep the food, the tastes and the quality the same perfect level. The local meals they serve are just perfect. Really I can't find words to overpraise them. The owners are really masters of the local cousine and their friendship and hospitality needs to be underlined. If you can visit them for a evening just do it, don't heisitate. The inn has few cosy old style rooms for their guests."

"From the moment you sit down, you know you are in for a special meal at Treville. The owner, who was also our waiter, decorated the dining room with his own creations,everything from art on the wall down to the dinner plates on the table. His professionalism in service is 1st class without being pretentious, and the food..... beautifully presented and delicious. They had a fixed course menu, seafood or meat, but both of us would have to have the same meal, so we couldn't go that route, but still everything we ordered al la carte was fantastic. Check in advance if/when they are open. The owner, as the story goes, used to operate a Michelin starred restaurant, and has retired to Treville."
