"An einem Abend haben wir ganz klassisch ein Wiener Schitzel im Oberwirt gegessen. Dieses war sehr gut. Aber unsere Suppe davor...die Bärlauchcremesuppe...war ein Genuss für den Gaumen.Einen anderen Abend haben wir uns für den Rehrücken entschieden (2 Personen). Dieses Fleisch kommt aus der Viehhofer Jagd und ist sehr zart...und auch die Beilagen wie Semmelknödel, Rotkraut und Kartoffelkroketten werden vom Küchenchef frisch zubereitet.Auch der Zwiebelrostbraten am letzten Abend hat uns nicht enttäuscht.Man merkt hier einfach, dass alles frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet wird.Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, aber nie aufdringlich und auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier.Bei schönem Wetter sitzt man draußen auf der Terrasse, ansonsten kann man in den urig-gemütlichen Stuben einkehren.EMPFEHLENSWERT!"

"Lisi auf der Rammernalm etwas ausserhalb von Saalbach gelegen bietet eine Pinzgauer Spezialität, die man nur mehr ganz selten in Restaurants bekommt: "Bladeln", das sind ganz dünne aus dunklem Mehl herausgebackene dreieckige Fladen die mit verschiedenen Beilagen, von Sauerkraut bis süß, serviert werden.Im Winter ist zu emphehlen den letzten Teil des Weges eine halbe Stunde bergauf durch die verschneite Landschaft zu Fuß zu gehen (und vielleicht nach 5 Bladln und einem Schnaps mit einem Schlitten zurückzufahren). Man kann aber bei weniger winterlichen Fahrverhältnissen bis zur Alm fahren. Die noch exklusiefere Variante ist, vom Schattberg / Limberglift die Tiefschneeabfahrt zur Rammernalm zu fahren."
