"The woman who served us was so beautiful and helpful! We bought vegan dog food, shampoo bar, grams of flour, balm for our dogs paws and pickles. All reasonable price, the woman who owns the store really cares was very well known."

"Here we bought most of our stuff during our stay on the island. it is not a very big load, but they have soybeans, vegan skin rashers, Swedish glace sojaeis and other things that are worth trying. the friendly staff gave us some nice tips where to buy in london and where to really good organic bread on the island (there is a small farmer market also with fresh gluten-free bread) updated by the previous review on Saturday, June 09, 2011"

"A group of friends visited from overseas and wanted to go to the island wight for a day trip. based on the good call, we went to eat to the duck and had a fantastic meal. it is about 10/12 minutes to walk from the hoverport, so easy to reach. many parking places close to, if necessary. the menu was great, and we selected a few starters to share my main courses. everything we had was delicious and beautiful. for us stood the appetizers of the pork bell and the bean, and the scalopps on a creamy spaghetti. for the main course I had the perfectly cooked seabass on an incredible bed of kartoffeln. my friends also enjoyed their main courses. for the lammburger, note that the 'bun' is a single square at the basic and not a top piece, but this should be eaten with knife and fork and I was reliably told by two of my friends who had it amazing. a few of us had wein, for which we chose a beautiful example of a picpoul de pinet. also other wine options looked great. for four of us, with three appetizers and each one main, plus a bottle of wine and some beer were £144, so £36 each plus a deserved drink."

"What a lovely place to stop off for a drink , food was proper good wholesome pub food with a good selection of beers wines . Just a stones through from the beach and a 5 min walk to town its a great alternative to the high street bars . Try there Sunday Roasts there amazing ."
