"What an incredible night in Rustico! My wife and I decided to review it and try the pizza, and we were both delighted that we did. Rustico is located directly on Route 6, a quick detour from I-195. If you want to stop for a good meal on the way to Cape, this is an excellent place. We had the meatballs that were perfect: delicate and not overhauled, made with fresh herbs and highlighted with a bright and hearty marinara. Excellent. We also tried 2 pizzas, the Hawaiian and the Pig Figs (see photos). The crust held its structure and did not flop down, but it was not hard or excessive chewing. Who made the dough has some serious work in developing a piece of pizza without much compromise. The sauce/cheese/toppings balance was also good-done, so you can actually taste every ingredient without overwhelming an item. There were several desserts to choose from, and we have the opportunity to taste the chocolate cake and the ricotta-filled beignets (both really good). We look forward to coming back to try the cream puff and the gelato! Rustico has a full bar with a strong beer and wine selection. Fantastic. We can't wait to come back!"
